Beijing Jingxi Culture Tourism Co., Ltd. (000802.SZ) forecast a net loss attributable to shareholders of 33 million yuan to 45 million yuan for the first half of 2026, narrowing sharply from a loss of 232.6338 million yuan a year earlier, according to Jiemian News. The company projected a net loss after excluding non-recurring items of 35 million yuan to 47 million yuan, versus a loss of 243.9343 million yuan in the prior-year period, and basic earnings per share of negative 0.0461 yuan to negative 0.0629 yuan.
The company said the year-on-year improvement was mainly because a film released in the same period last year underperformed at the box office, leading to a larger loss then. It added that the forecast is based on preliminary calculations by its finance department and has not been audited, with final figures to be disclosed in its 2026 interim report.
