Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) released its 2025 Asset and Wealth Management Activities Survey, reporting that total assets under management rose 20% year on year to a record HK$42.2 trillion.According to Odaily, the SFC said the latest figure surpassed the previous high of HK$35.5 trillion recorded in 2021.The survey attributed part of the increase to net fund inflows, which rose 193% from a year earlier to HK$2.1 trillion, marking the third consecutive year of growth.By segment, assets under management in asset management and fund advisory businesses increased 19% year on year to HK$31 trillion. Assets under management in private banking and private wealth management rose 24% to HK$12.9 trillion.
