Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has stated his commitment to paying employees as much as possible. According to Jin10, Huang made these remarks in response to questions about Nvidia's partner, Samsung Electronics, and its recent compensation agreement offering bonuses of up to $400,000 to chip engineers. Huang commented, "I have always been in favor of paying employees as much as possible, and I do so, but that doesn't mean it's the right thing to do." He also dismissed concerns that artificial intelligence could threaten jobs, calling such claims "nonsense," and argued that AI would instead drive growth in income, profits, and GDP. According to a Samsung document from March, the average income for Samsung employees last year was 158 million Korean won (approximately $105,000).
