According to the announcement from Binance, the platform is set to host an OpenGradient (OPG) Trading Tournament, offering eligible participants a chance to win from a prize pool of 3,000,000 OPG in token vouchers. The tournament will run from 2026-05-26 11:00 (UTC) to 2026-06-09 11:00 (UTC). The event introduces an 'Early Bird Boost' multiplier, designed to reward users who trade earlier during the promotion period. Verified new, regular users, and Binance VIP users are eligible to participate, while liquidity providers in the Binance Spot Liquidity Provider Program and Binance Brokers are excluded.
The tournament features trading pairs OPG/USDT and OPG/USDC. Participants will benefit from varying multipliers based on the timing of their trades, with earlier trades receiving higher multipliers. The daily effective trading volume is calculated by multiplying the actual daily trading volume with the Early Bird Boost multiplier. The leaderboard will display the total effective trading volume, updated at least once every 24 hours. The reward structure is based on cumulative trading volume, with the top five participants receiving between 30,000 and 150,000 OPG. Places 6th to 20th will share 270,000 OPG, while places 21st to 50th will split 240,000 OPG. Participants ranked 51st to 200th will share 720,000 OPG, and those ranked 201st to 1,000th will also share 720,000 OPG. Remaining eligible participants will split 600,000 OPG, capped at 20 OPG per user. Token vouchers will be distributed by 2026-06-23 and must be redeemed within 21 days. Binance reserves the right to disqualify participants involved in dishonest behavior or tampering with program code.
