The Polish parliament has approved a bill to incorporate the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulations into national legislation. According to NS3.AI, the new law could result in local firms losing their authorization to provide virtual asset services if not implemented by July. However, the bill may face a presidential veto, as President Karol Nawrocki has previously blocked similar MiCA legislation in February and December of last year.
In a separate development, prosecutors are investigating Zondacrypto for alleged fraud amounting to approximately $100 million. This investigation has caused withdrawal difficulties for thousands of users.
