Anduril, a U.S. defense technology company, has announced the completion of a $5 billion Series H funding round, bringing its post-investment valuation to $61 billion. According to PANews, the round was led by Thrive Capital and a16z. CEO Brian Schimpf stated in a letter to investors that the company aims to achieve $2.2 billion in revenue by 2025. Over the past year, Anduril has nearly doubled its revenue and workforce. The company has delivered its first international project to the Royal Australian Navy and completed an autonomous flight demonstration for a U.S. Air Force unmanned combat aircraft project. Anduril plans to focus on increasing investments in high-capacity manufacturing, AI and autonomous systems, the Lattice sensor and command platform, and the Arsenal-1 factory and ArsenalOS production system to address the evolving defense needs amid "industrialized warfare" and great power competition.
