According to Odaily, a September 14 Form 8-K filing showed Strategy retired 1,420,467 STRC shares, while its 845,000 BTC holdings were unchanged and had an average cost of $75,412. USD cash fell from $1.44 billion to $1.3 billion, and about $1.05 billion remains available under its $2 billion digital credit repurchase plan.

R25 to Upgrade to 2.0 With Open Vault Infrastructure as a Service
R25 said it will upgrade to version 2.0 and open its previously closed infrastructure to a broader ecosystem, positioning it as Vault Infrastructure as a Service for asset managers, traders, quant teams, and emerging portfolio managers. The company said the service will provide one-stop Vault deployment, operations, and scaling. According to Foresight News, the main change is a shift in issuance barriers, as qualified asset managers will be able to configure, deploy, and operate Vault smart contracts in minutes using natural language. R25 2.0 will support strategies built from more than 2,000 on-chain assets across RWA, crypto, and DeFi, while maintaining institutional transparency and risk controls. It will also offer one-click Vault deployment and AI backtesting, and connect to a global on-chain capital network that links custodians, exchanges, wallets, fintech and neobank platforms, and crypto-native investors. Asset managers will only need to define strategy, fees, and risk parameters, while contract deployment, asset access, NAV calculation, and capital distribution will be handled by R25's modular infrastructure. The open architecture is based on validation from R25 1.0, whose curator lineup includes Axil, Raffaello, and Ember Protocol. Axil's private credit Vault reached a TVL of $130 million after launch. R25 said the production-grade infrastructure supporting these Vaults includes a modular Vault architecture, asynchronous deposits and withdrawals, standardized NAV and portfolio accounting, on-chain strategy management and execution, configurable fees and risk management, and multiple security audits. R25 2.0 is expected to launch in Q4 2026.

Morgan Asset Management fixed income chief investment officer Iain Stealey said a decision by the Federal Reserve to keep rates unchanged on Wednesday local time could surprise markets. According to Sina Finance, he said traders are almost certain the Fed will raise rates, and a hold could trigger a selloff in U.S. Treasuries. Stealey said a rate hold would deliver a major shock to markets and that the long end of the yield curve would not like the outcome. He also said he is watching whether the Federal Open Market Committee decision will include dissenting votes, adding that his base case is for officials to present a united front. He said the bigger question is whether markets will price in rates staying unchanged for a longer period or the start of another rate-hike cycle. U.S. Treasury yields were little changed overall, with the 10-year yield hovering around 5%. Stealey said the 5% yield level is attractive and described it as a good investment opportunity. He added that one of the biggest challenges for central banks is how high oil prices will feed through to markets, saying there is a very strong correlation between energy prices and bond yields.
