On the first trading day of September, both stocks gave back some of those gains. The Hang Seng Index was down 0.8% at 25,358, the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index fell 0.5% to 8,473, and the Hang Seng Tech Index slipped 0.6% to 4,594. Mainboard turnover was about HK$53.3 billion.

According to the announcement from Binance, Binance Futures will launch the HK0625USDT Quanto perpetual contract on 2026-09-01 02:45 (UTC) to expand trading choices and support users’ trading experience. The contract is a USDⓈ-M perpetual contract with SHEIN Global Holdings Limited (HKEX: 0625) as the underlying equity and USDT as the settlement asset. Binance said the contract will have a tick size of 0.01, a minimum trade amount of 0.01 HK0625, and a minimum notional value of 5 USDT. The capped funding rate will be +1.00% / -1.00%, with funding fee settlement every four hours and an interest rate of 0%. Maximum leverage will be 20x, trading will be available 24/7, and Multi-Assets Mode will be supported. Binance also stated that the new perpetual contract will be exempt from the adjustment of funding interval rules, meaning the funding interval will not change from every four hours to every one hour if the previous funding rate settlement reaches the cap or floor. The exchange said a separate announcement will be made if it later decides to increase the funding interval to every one hour. Binance added that the contract specifications may be adjusted over time based on market risk conditions, including changes to the funding fee, tick size, maximum leverage, initial margin, and maintenance margin requirements. The notice said that if there is any discrepancy between this announcement and a Futures FAQ, the notice will take priority as the most accurate and updated information.
