Hyundai Heavy Industries Robotics, a robotics subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries Group, announced Sunday that it had partnered with Palantir Technologies to co-develop physical AI solutions. According to Sina Finance, the collaboration aims to use physical AI to transform on-site operations and redefine engineers’ roles in industrial-site management. The company’s chief technology officer, Ahn Seong-hwan, recently attended Palantir’s Sovereign AI Bootcamp in New York, which focused on improving AI-enabled business competitiveness while protecting companies’ core data and business information. At the event, Ahn outlined Hyundai Heavy Industries Robotics’ strategy and future vision for deploying physical AI, as well as the partners’ direction for developing solutions. Palantir Chief Revenue Officer Ryan Taylor said the companies would start with projects capable of producing measurable results in the short term and planned to connect Hyundai Heavy Industries Robotics’ equipment to Palantir’s AI platform to help uncover business opportunities and turn the company’s industry expertise into a competitive advantage that can be scaled faster.

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has said the company could build a space data center as early as next year. Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon and head of Blue Origin, has predicted that a 1-gigawatt space data center could emerge within a decade. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has called the idea impractical under current conditions. Peterson-Corio said electricity supply is sufficient and identified project approval and grid interconnection reviews as the main bottlenecks. Alphabet’s X lab is working with PJM on Tapestry, a project using AI to speed up assessments. She also said the grid averages about 45% unused capacity, largely to meet peak demand. Google supports commitments such as paying for grid upgrades for 15 to 20 years, paying electricity bills and property taxes, posting funds for land restoration if a project is abandoned, and ending confidentiality agreements with local governments. Such grid-infrastructure commitments are in place in more than nine states, she said. Google has also said it will increasingly rely on third-party computing resources because its own data center construction is not keeping pace with demand.

The restoration of liquidity and market confidence are not the same thing. Stolen funds can be replenished, but whether institutions and users are willing to continue participating in the market needs time to verify.

According to Jin10, JPMorgan interest-rate strategists expect the U.S. Treasury to leave its guidance for future auction sizes, nominal coupon Treasury auction sizes and buyback auction sizes unchanged in its November refunding announcement. They see a risk that the Treasury could reduce long-term debt issuance, although they said they see no reasonable rationale for doing so. The strategists said the Treasury should remove the word “at least” from its long-standing forward guidance.
