The report indicates that weekly active users have surpassed 800 million, with over one million businesses paying for enterprise-level AI products. ChatGPT's workplace product has reached 7 million paid seats, representing employee users. The report highlights the United States, Germany, and Japan as the most active markets for commercial ChatGPT usage. Across various industries, the median increase in AI usage over the past 12 months has exceeded sixfold. OpenAI notes that AI is redefining traditional job boundaries, with 75% of employees using AI to accomplish tasks previously beyond their capabilities, such as code review, spreadsheet automation, and technical tool development. In the last six months, code-related message volume has grown by an average of 36% across non-engineering, IT, and research departments.
