Strategy Nears Inclusion in S&P 500, Signaling Bitcoin's Growing Influence

As the world's largest Bitcoin treasury company, achieving this milestone would significantly enhance Bitcoin's role in the U.S. financial landscape. Nonetheless, Strategy's inclusion is not guaranteed. In 2020, the S&P 500 opted for the smaller Etsy over Tesla, without providing a clear reason, though analysts suggested Tesla's volatility was a concern. Strategy faces a similar challenge, with a five-year beta coefficient of 3.86, making it potentially the most volatile company in the S&P 500, nearly twice as volatile as Tesla.
