Thailand's Tax Exemption on Cryptocurrency Sales to Boost Financial Sector

This exemption, effective from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2029, aims to bolster Thailand's position as a global financial hub. The Ministry of Finance revealed that capital gains tax will be waived for cryptocurrency sales made through licensed digital asset service providers.
