According to PANews, the CME's "FedWatch" tool indicates an 88.8% probability that the Federal Reserve will maintain its current interest rates in January. There is an 11.2% chance of a 25 basis point rate cut. Looking ahead to March, the likelihood of keeping rates unchanged stands at 49.7%, while the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 45.3%, and a 50 basis point cut is 4.9%.
