Stellar Becomes MetaMask’s Default Network, Automatically Generating Addresses for Accounts

Stellar is now the default network in the MetaMask mobile app and browser extension. According to Odaily, each existing MetaMask account will automatically receive a Stellar address derived from its existing recovery phrase, with no additional setup required. Users can hold, manage, send and receive XLM, Trustline assets and Soroban tokens, and swap between Stellar and other supported networks. Existing Stellar users can also import their accounts using a recovery phrase.
