China's SAFE: Maintain Forex Market Stability and National Financial Security

According to Jin10, China's State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) Party Secretary and Administrator Zhu Hexin chaired a meeting on October 30, 2026, which called for implementing the requirements of the 15th Five-Year Plan; improving the foreign exchange management system and mechanisms to make them more convenient, open, secure, and intelligent; advancing deeper reform and high-standard opening-up in the foreign exchange sector; delivering on the five key areas of finance; maintaining foreign exchange market stability and national economic and financial security; cracking down on illegal cross-border financial activities; strengthening foreign exchange reserve management; and following a path of financial development with Chinese characteristics.
