Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has ended his long-term partnership with Nike and will serve as the ambassador for Swiss brand On's new football boot business. According to Sina Finance, this is On's first move into football boots. On said on Friday that Mbappe will be at the core of its football push and will work directly with the product team on future football boots and apparel. The company also said he will serve as a global brand ambassador, extending the partnership beyond football into sport, performance, and contemporary design. On also extended its existing partnership with Swiss national team player and Barcelona midfielder Sydney Schertenleib, who signed with the company in December 2025 as a training and lifestyle apparel ambassador. She will now also take part in football boot-related projects. On founder David Allemann said the brand's football boots will go on sale to retail customers in 2027 as a premium product. The company plans to focus on the women's game ahead of next summer's Women's World Cup, while Mbappe is expected to wear the new boots in matches in the coming weeks.
