Xingqi Ophthalmic Drug Wins China NMPA Approval for SQ-25012 Thyroid Eye Disease Trial

Xingqi Ophthalmic Drug said on September 15 that it received China's National Medical Products Administration approval notice for SQ-25012 injection, allowing the company to begin a clinical trial for thyroid eye disease, according to Jiemian News. The drug is a recombinant humanized IgG1 trispecific antibody and is classified as a category 1 innovative biologic medicine for treatment. Xingqi said it has completed pharmaceutical and non-clinical pharmacology and toxicology studies, which showed good safety and clinical development value. As of the announcement date, no drug of the same type has been approved for marketing.
