Coupang Forms External Security Advisory Committee After Massive Data Breach

According to The Korea Herald, Coupang has formed an external information security advisory committee as it works to rebuild public trust and strengthen defenses after last year’s data breach that affected more than 33 million users. The newly launched committee is meant to provide objective reviews of the company’s internal security policies and help improve safeguards for customer information. Coupang said seven outside professionals with expertise in information security, law and management will serve on the committee.
