DeepSeek Harness’s official desktop client has appeared in the main branch of its official repository. According to ChainCatcher, the desktop app is built with Electron and turns the existing Harness Web UI into a standalone application, so users do not need to start a web service themselves.
The codebase already includes build, signing, notarization, auto-update, and upload workflows for macOS and Windows installers, with the production update address pointing to download.deepseek.com. Recent commits mainly fixed packaging, notarization, and startup recovery issues. The official release date has not been announced, and no installer is available in GitHub Releases.
