Wolfe Research Upgrades Affirm Holdings to Outperform, Sees 26% Upside

According to CNBC, Wolfe Research upgraded Affirm Holdings to outperform from peer perform and set a $90 price target, implying 26% upside from Friday's close. Analyst Darrin Peller said the recent pullback after the company's strong fiscal fourth-quarter results makes the valuation more attractive, and he described Affirm as a structural winner with key growth drivers and proven execution. Shares of Affirm have fallen about 8% since Aug. 27, when the company reported fiscal fourth-quarter results, and have lagged Klarna and the S&P 500 over that period. Peller said Affirm continues to execute well, with share gains, Affirm Card momentum and strong 0% APR trends. He also said international expansion and further vertical diversification, including into services, remain opportunities, while longer-term growth drivers include Affirm Edge and agentic commerce. LSEG data show 29 of the 37 analysts covering Affirm Holdings rate the stock a buy or strong buy.
