Iran May Reverse-Engineer U.S. Underwater Drone

According to Jin10, Iran's consulate general in Hyderabad, India, posted on social media that its reverse engineers will hold an unboxing ceremony on the morning of September 10, alongside a photo of a "Submarine-LD" unmanned underwater vehicle similar to one claimed as a trophy by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Reuters said the post was more of a jab at the United States, but the capture of the U.S. military underwater drone gave Iran an opportunity to study it and possibly reverse-engineer it, dealing a setback to the Pentagon.
