Amazon Plans to Raise £4.25 Billion in First Sterling Bond Sale

According to Wallstreetcn, Amazon is expected to raise £4.25 billion ($5.8 billion) through its first sterling bond sale, and it has expanded the four-part offering despite a slight decline in investor orders. According to people familiar with the matter, orders currently exceed £11.65 billion, down from more than £12 billion previously, while pricing has tightened to 53 basis points above U.K. government bond yields for the shortest three-year tranche and 93 basis points above for the longest-dated bond. This is Amazon's fourth debt sale outside the U.S. dollar market this year.
