White Hat Group Accuses Blockstream of Underpaying for Liquid Security

A white hat hacker group behind the Liquid exploit accused Blockstream of spending only $1.5 million, and possibly nothing, to secure $5 billion in assets. According to Odaily, the group said in a new on-chain message that Blockstream should use its own funds to pay a bug bounty equal to 10% of the related assets, warning that refusal would result in a 15% loss for holders. The group also said it would publish the private key used to decrypt earlier conversations with Blockstream. It previously returned 3,400 BTC to the Liquid Federation and still has about 600 BTC left to return.
