Longban Media to Suspend Trading for Review After 93.47% Share Price Surge

Longban Media said on September 8 that its stock had hit the daily limit for six consecutive trading days from August 31 to September 7, and rose another 9.12% on September 8. The company said the stock had gained about 93.47% over August 31-September 8, far outpacing fundamentals and carrying risks of overheated sentiment, irrational speculation and a sharp short-term pullback, according to Jiemian News. To protect investors, Longban Media will suspend trading for a review of the abnormal price moves after applying to the Shanghai Stock Exchange; the stock will be halted from the open on September 9, 2026 and resume trading after the review announcement is disclosed.
