B.TOP founder Jiang Zhuoer said on X that he sold his entire Bitcoin position at $82,050 and bought it back at $79,480, returning to a full spot ETH position while waiting for a rise. According to PANews, he said ETH is the engine of this bull market rather than a follower, and that an early rise in ETH may mean Bitcoin will follow.
Jiang said spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a record $730 million in net inflows on September 3, and that short positions can only be used for quick trades while ETF inflows continue. He said the next resistance level is between $83,000 and $84,000, which he expects will be difficult to break in the short term, and said consolidation may last at least one to two months.
He said he is still waiting for a larger pullback in this rally and expects $76,000 is likely to be reached, with a possible low in the $71,255 to $73,361 range. He said he would use reserve funds to buy back in at that level.
Jiang also said he had twice timed market tops accurately, including shorting ETH at $2,525 on August 22, which he said was 0.98% below the top, and shorting BTC at $82,050 in this move, which he said was 0.28% below the top. He said his unleveraged full-position trading approach has been effective, with each trade making 2% to 3% and stop losses controlled at 0.5%.
