KB Securities research head Kim Dong-won said Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix memory chip inventories fell below 10 days in the third quarter, moving beyond a simple demand recovery. According to Odaily, he said available supply is likely to become absolutely insufficient, and the possibility that sellable memory products could run out next year may become a reality. Serenity, who cited the report on X, said investors are cheering for shortages and price increases in the memory sector. Serenity added that the outlook for the KOSPI, Micron, and SanDisk could remain positive through 2027 amid strong demand-driven shortages and a higher share of infrastructure spending.
