Etihad CEO Says Airline Is Doubling Down on Growth Despite Iran War

According to CNBC, Etihad Airways entered 2026 after its most profitable year on record, but the Iran conflict disrupted flights, increased jet-fuel costs and pressured its rapid expansion. Group CEO Antonoaldo Neves said the airline is still adding planes and routes, is targeting break-even for the year and remains focused on growth after the conflict derailed its record-profit momentum.
