Sino Hero Ventures Sues Louis Koo And One Cool Film Over HK$149 Million Loan

Sino Hero Ventures Limited, a British Virgin Islands-registered company, has sued actor Louis Koo and One Cool Film Production Limited in Hong Kong High Court over a loan and interest claim of more than HK$149 million, according to ETNet. The writ said the parties signed a term loan facility agreement on September 6, 2019, under which the plaintiff agreed to lend HK$70 million to the defendants. The principal was due on September 17, 2020, but the repayment deadline was extended twice. As of January 29, 2024, the defendants had repaid only HK$13.2 million. After repeated demands, they paid another HK$700,000 on August 27 this year. As of August 28 this year, the outstanding amount, including principal and interest, exceeded HK$149 million.
