Green Economy Names Zhang Yanshuai As Independent Non-Executive Director

Green Economy (01315) said Zhang Yanshuai has been appointed as an independent non-executive director effective from yesterday, while Zhang Shengman will not stand for re-election at the annual general meeting and will step down from his roles after the meeting ends. According to ETNet, the company said Zhang previously held senior management roles at China Cinda (01359) subsidiary China Cinda (Hong Kong) Holdings, where he ultimately served as assistant to the chief executive officer overseeing major business units, and also worked in several positions at China Development Bank Group. Green Economy added that Zhang Shengman confirmed he has no disagreement with the board and is not aware of any matters relating to his retirement that need to be brought to shareholders' attention.
