Japan's Economy Minister Ryosei Akazawa said he plans to meet U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer in Washington this week to discuss deepening bilateral economic ties. According to Sina Finance, Akazawa made the remarks to reporters on Wednesday while attending the G20 Innovation Ministers' Meeting in North Carolina. He is responsible for coordinating with the U.S. side on the $550 billion investment plan established under last year's trade agreement.
