Two US investment firms are asking a New York court to compel disclosure over Aston Martin’s £450 million loan that shifted most of its brand rights to an outside owner. According to BeInCrypto, Arini Capital Management and Tresidor Investment Management want documents from the lenders and advisers, while Aston Martin bondholders are preparing a separate claim in London.
The loan was arranged in July by a group led by HPS Investment Partners, with an Authentic Brands Group arm also involved. A further £100 million is tied to Authentic Brands taking a 50.1% stake in the unit holding Aston Martin’s non-automotive brand rights.
