AI Security Startup AIR Raises $50 Million in Funding

AI security startup AIR has raised $50 million in funding, with Sequoia Capital leading the first $10 million round and Greenoaks leading the second $40 million round. According to ChainCatcher, Swish, Netz, and several angel investors also participated. The company was founded by Yair Saban and Niv Hoffman, both veterans of Israel's Unit 8200. It provides an AI agent security platform that identifies AI agents operating inside enterprises, continuously reviews the skills and tools they use, and blocks interactions with noncompliant software or external sources. The platform also offers a marketplace for vetted AI agent plugins and skills.
