According to Wallstreetcn, Omdia forecasts that custom AI ASIC shipments will exceed GPU shipments in 2028, with AI ASIC shipments reaching 10.5 million units and GPU shipments at 10.1 million units. Omdia said GPU revenue is expected to remain ahead through 2032, although the gap between the two will gradually narrow starting in 2029, as GPU prices remain very high and are still rising.
