Meituan Upgrades Local-Living AI Assistant XiaoTuan

Meituan said on July 27 that it has fully upgraded XiaoTuan, its AI-native assistant for local services. In addition to search, Q&A and decision support, the new version can now help users complete actions such as placing orders, booking rides and making reservations by combining real-time information. According to 36Kr, XiaoTuan's information services now cover more than 2,800 cities across China, have completed over 700 million merchant information checks, and include more than 1.3 billion user reviews. During China's May Day holiday this year, services related to XiaoTuan received more than 3.9 billion exposures.
