SEMI said global semiconductor equipment sales are expected to rise 23.2% in 2026 to $165.9 billion and reach a record $229.5 billion in 2028. A CICC research note said semiconductor equipment components are benefiting from both AI-driven capacity expansion and a low domestic localization rate for key parts, with high-end localization still at an early stage.
