Malaysia Sells First Dollar Bonds in Five Years on Rising Fuel Subsidy Costs

Malaysia sold $1.5 billion of dollar bonds in its first such sale in five years, according to Bloomberg. The fundraising comes as the Southeast Asian nation faces a fuel subsidy bill that is likely to more than double from an initial goal because of the Iran war.
