Hong Kong chip stocks opened higher, with Biren Technology (06082.HK) up more than 5%, and GigaDevice (03986.HK) and Innoscience (02577.HK) both rising more than 3%. According to Jin10, TSMC is reportedly planning to raise prices for advanced and mature-process products from 2027, with base increases of up to 10% and potentially larger increases for some additional orders of AI high-performance computing chips.
