Multicoin Capital has invested $1.75 million in Trasia Labs' seed round as the sole institutional backer, marking its entry into the Hyperliquid ecosystem. According to ChainCatcher, Trasia is a perpetual futures trading platform built on Hyperliquid and focused on Asian markets.
Trasia was founded by former Multicoin Capital partner and former Stepn chief revenue officer Mable Jiang and Web3 professional Edison Chen. The platform launched its first web version on July 17, supports English and Chinese, plans to release a mobile app in August, and has started an invite-only Asia Points program.
Trasia currently connects to Hyperliquid's native perpetual market in a non-custodial setup. It also plans to launch its own perpetual contracts under the HIP-3 protocol, with a focus on assets such as AI infrastructure and pre-IPO opportunities that are closely watched by Asian investors. The company said it has deployed more than $35 million in HYPE and USDC to support the Asian stock perpetual market and related ecosystem growth.
