WORLD CUP | Air Quality Alert Issued Before Spain-Argentina Final in New Jersey

Officials in New York and New Jersey have issued an air quality health alert because of wildfire smoke just days before the World Cup final at New York New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, according to Yahoo Sports. The final between Spain and Argentina is scheduled for Sunday, 19 July at 20:00 BST, and there is currently no suggestion it will be affected. The air quality in the area is expected to improve on Friday, while forecast rain on Saturday should help disperse some of the smoke.
