Johnson Electric Q1 Revenue Rises 2% To $936 Million

Johnson Electric reported first-quarter business and operating data for the period ended March, with revenue of $936 million, up 2% year on year, according to Ming Pao. Revenue rose by $14 million due to favorable foreign-exchange movements. Automotive products revenue reached $778 million, also up 2% year on year and flat excluding currency effects. Industrial products revenue increased 6% to $158 million, or 5% excluding foreign-exchange impact. Chairman Poonsum Wang said the group targets mid-single-digit growth this year.
