Meta Shares Trim Losses After Company Introduces Paid AI Developer Model Muse Spark 1.1

Meta shares rose briefly, narrowing losses to 0.6% after earlier falling as much as 4%. According to Odaily, the move followed Meta’s announcement of its first paid AI developer model, Muse Spark 1.1. Meta said Muse Spark 1.1 is an agentic and programming model. The company said that across multiple agent evaluations, its performance is comparable to GPT-5.5 and Opus-4.8. Meta said the model is available starting now through a new Meta Model API and the Meta AI platform. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the company plans to price it below competitors.
