Macau FIU Reports 2,753 Suspicious Transaction Reports in First Half, Up 9.5%

Macau’s Financial Intelligence Office said it received 2,753 suspicious transaction reports in the first half, up 9.5% from the same period in 2025, with the increase mainly driven by the gaming sector, according to Ming Pao. By source, 19.1% of the reports came from the financial sector, 73.3% were filed by the gaming sector, and 7.6% were submitted by other institutions.
