Solstice Agrees to Buy Element Solutions for $14.5 Billion

Solstice agreed to buy Element Solutions after making a $14.5 billion takeover offer, Element Solutions Chief Executive Officer Ben Gliklich said, according to Bloomberg. Gliklich said the deal was too compelling to pass up and that the combined company could become a bigger player in semiconductor materials, AI data-center cooling and critical US supply chains.
