A packed week of economic data releases and central bank events is scheduled, including the release of U.S. Federal Reserve meeting minutes, China’s June CPI, and China’s June foreign exchange reserves.
According to Jin10, the calendar includes multiple indicators from Europe, the United States, and Asia, as well as speeches by central bank officials.
On Monday, scheduled data include Switzerland’s seasonally adjusted June unemployment rate; the euro zone’s July Sentix investor confidence index, the euro zone’s May PPI monthly rate, and the euro zone’s May retail sales monthly rate; and U.S. June S&P Global services PMI final, U.S. June ISM non-manufacturing PMI, and the U.S. June global supply chain pressure index. Events include remarks from Fed Governor Christopher Waller, ECB Executive Board member Isabel Schnabel, ECB Governing Council member Pierre Wunsch, and Riksbank Deputy Governor Anna Seim.
On Tuesday, releases include Germany’s seasonally adjusted May industrial output monthly rate; the U.K.’s seasonally adjusted June Halifax house price index monthly rate; France’s May trade balance; U.S. weekly ADP employment change for the week ending June 20; the U.S. May trade balance; and China’s June foreign exchange reserves. Events include Turkey hosting a NATO summit through July 8, and a U.S. Trade Representative Office public hearing on a proposal to impose additional tariffs on 60 economies worldwide.
On Wednesday, scheduled items include U.S. weekly API crude inventories for the week ending July 3; Japan’s May trade balance; the New Zealand central bank interest rate decision through July 8; U.S. May wholesale sales monthly rate; and multiple EIA weekly inventory reports for the week ending July 3, including crude, Cushing crude, the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, and natural gas. The EIA is also set to publish its monthly short-term energy outlook, and the New Zealand central bank governor, Breman, is scheduled to hold a monetary policy press conference.
On Thursday, releases include U.S. 10-year Treasury auction results for July 8 (high yield and bid-to-cover); China’s June CPI year-on-year rate; Germany’s seasonally adjusted May trade balance; U.S. initial jobless claims for the week ending July 4; U.S. June annualized existing home sales; and U.S. weekly EIA natural gas inventories for the week ending July 3. The Fed and the ECB are scheduled to publish their June meeting minutes, and New York Fed President John C. Williams is set to speak.
On Friday, releases include Germany’s June CPI monthly final; France’s June CPI monthly final; Switzerland’s June consumer confidence index; Canada’s June employment change; and China’s June M2 money supply year-on-year rate. Events include a tentative Nasdaq listing date of July 10 for SK Hynix’s American depositary receipts, remarks from 2026 FOMC voter and Dallas Fed President Lorie K. Logan, and the IEA’s monthly oil market report. New Zealand’s stock exchange is scheduled to be closed for one day.
On Saturday, the U.S. weekly oil rig count for the week ending July 10 is scheduled.
