AI | Windsor Says Market Has Misread Demand for AI Compute

Semiconductor stocks started 3Q with their worst two-day selloff in nearly a month, with the Philadelphia Stock Exchange Semiconductor Index down as much as 6% on July 2, according to Bloomberg. Richard Windsor, founder of Radio Free Mobile, said the market has mistaken demand for AI compute in comments to Bloomberg’s Abeer Abu Omar on Horizons Middle East & Africa. The index is coming off its best quarter ever, after an 88% advance.
