Sui Upgrades Mainnet to V1.74.1 and Protocol to Version 128

Sui said its mainnet has been upgraded to V1.74.1, with the protocol updated to version 128. According to Odaily, the upgrade adds support for zero-gas stablecoin transfer transaction simulations to help developers test related applications. Sui also said the mainnet has adopted a timestamp-based mechanism for ending epochs. The update introduces static checks for Move code to help improve code quality. In addition, Sui said it optimized validator node connectivity and node restart stability to reduce abnormal crashes. The upgrade also improves range proof verification, cryptographic computation performance, and protocol mechanisms related to Binary Pools to support future feature expansion.
