Nvidia Unveils Revenue-Sharing AI Factory Partnerships With Cloud Providers

Nvidia said on July 1 it is launching a new AI infrastructure partnership model that uses revenue-sharing and credit-support mechanisms to co-build large-scale, multi-tenant AI factories with AI cloud service providers. According to ChainCatcher, the company said the model is designed to speed access to AI computing power for startups, model developers, enterprises, and research institutions, while generating recurring revenue for Nvidia tied to compute usage. Under the plan, participating AI cloud providers will deploy AI factories based on Nvidia’s DSX AI Factory architecture and offer cloud computing services to external customers. Nvidia said the first partners are Sharon AI and Firmus. Sharon AI plans to deploy up to 40,000 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GB300 GPUs. Firmus plans to build a DSX AI factory campus on Batam Island, Indonesia, with an expansion target of 360 megawatts of power capacity and deployment of up to 170,000 Nvidia GPUs.
