Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) has increased its registered capital to about 4.56 billion yuan from about 4.4 billion yuan, according to corporate registration information. According to Jin10, data from the Tianyancha app showed the change followed a recent business registration update. CATL was established in December 2011. Its legal representative is Zeng Yuqun. The company’s business scope includes the development, production, sales, and after-sales services of lithium-ion batteries, lithium polymer batteries, fuel cells, power batteries, ultra-large-capacity energy storage batteries, battery management systems, and rechargeable battery packs. Shareholders listed include Xiamen Ruiting Investment Co., Ltd., Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited, Huang Shilin, and others.
