Virginia Tech Team Unveils RNAbpFlow AI Model for RNA Structure Prediction

A scientist team at Virginia Tech has developed an AI model called RNAbpFlow that performs comparably to Google DeepMind’s AlphaFold 3 on RNA structure prediction tasks, according to 36Kr. The researchers said the model does not rely on massive evolutionary sequence databases and could help speed up RNA-targeted drug development. The study was published in a new issue of the journal Nature Methods.
