Consumers’ 12-Month Inflation Expectations Ease Slightly, Rate-Hike Expectations Near 50%

Consumers’ average and median inflation expectations for the next 12 months edged down slightly but remained elevated, the Conference Board said. According to Jin10, the net share of consumers who expected interest rates to keep rising over the next 12 months increased to nearly 50%.
